To display design and annotation data along with the expression data, simply add a new  view to your dataset by right-clicking on it:

Select "AddView" from the drop down menu. In the "Add View" window select "FullTableView"

This will generate a new "Full Table" view in the solution explorer containing the design and annotaion associated with the expression data.
