By default, Array Studio uses signed fold changes as this is considered a visually appealing format. Up regulated signals are indicated by numbers ranging from 1 to infinity. Down regulated signals are indicated by numbers ranging from -1 to –infinity.
This global option can be changed to only show positive values for fold changes by changing the statistical preference as follows:
From the Array Studio menu select Tools | Preferences then under the general tab select Statistics
In the Default options window, unselect the box for Generate signed fold changes.
