Flitering a table with a Boolean "OR" operator can be done directly for a given column as shown below:

To filter a table with a Boolean "OR" operator across two different columns such as
Fold change >2 (1hr vs. control) or fold change <-2 (4hr vs. control) do the following:

Set each column filter...
By default, ArrayStudio uses the "AND" Boolean operator to "Match All Columns":

You have to change this to the Boolean "OR" operator.
Select from the View Controller Options drop down menu "Match Any Columns" and shown below:
